Interest-Based Ads & Cookies Notice

This Notice explains how Vantara (“Vantara,” “we,” “us”) uses cookies and similar technologies and when we engage in interest-based advertising on our marketing surfaces (e.g., website landing pages). Our in-app experience is primarily subscription-based and not ad-supported.

1. Cookies and Similar Technologies

  • Essential: required for core functionality (security, log-in, load balancing).
  • Analytics: help us understand usage to improve performance and features.
  • Advertising/Retargeting: with your consent in relevant regions, we may use third-party tags (e.g., pixels) on marketing pages to measure campaigns and reach audiences interested in Vantara. These trackers may read or set identifiers in your browser/app.

2. Your Choices

  • Consent Banner: In the EEA/UK and other regions where required, we ask for your consent for non-essential cookies (analytics/advertising). You can change your choice at any time via the cookie settings link in our footer.
  • Browser & Device Controls: You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Mobile OS settings may provide ad-tracking limits.
  • Email Preferences: You can opt out of marketing emails via the unsubscribe link.

3. What We Share with Ad Partners

On marketing pages only, and subject to required consent, we may share limited device and event data (e.g., page views, campaign parameters, hashed identifiers) so partners can measure reach and performance. We do not share your exercise notes or health-related inputs with ad partners.

4. US State Privacy Disclosures

Some US states have privacy laws that define “sale” or “sharing” broadly (including certain cookie-based advertising). While we don’t currently maintain state-specific opt-out pages, we aim to respect applicable requirements through our existing controls (e.g., consent banner where required, and your browser/device settings). 5. Changes

We may update this Notice to reflect changes in technology or law. We will post updates with a new “Effective” date and, where required, obtain consent again for material changes.
